Edward is part of KPMG’s Mobility 2030 team focusing on supporting organisations to identify and exploit opportunities across the ecosystem, as well as providing commercial due diligence. Edward also has significant experience of supporting SMEs across the mobility ecosystem, including to develop business plans to support fundraising rounds.
Paul has a B.Eng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Systems and is Head of Electric Vehicle Readiness at EA Technology. He has a background in the regulated electricity utility sector and specialises in asset management and infrastructure planning and investment for electricity transmission and distribution networks. He sits as Patron’s representative on the Institute of Asset Management Council and is chairman of the ISO/TC 123 UK mirror committee on Management of Network Assets in Power Systems.
Ian Cameron has over 20 years’ international experience in the electricity distribution networks industry. His background is in network operation, capital construction and connections, with a specific focus on renewable energy and system optimisation, this focus is supported through his Electrical and Mechanical degrees.As Head of Innovation for UK Power Networks, Ian’s role includes management of the central team of highly skilled engineers providing support to the business and industry through developing innovative solutions to strategic key focus areas. These focus areas being readiness of the distribution network for the low carbon transition, future business / operating models and efficient and effective delivery of existing business outputs. Furthermore, Ian has overall accountability for innovation delivery programmes and innovation strategic direction.Ian’s career started in Eskom South Africa, where he left the position of Senior Technical Specialist, he then joined UK firm Freedom Group Power Projects division as Regional delivery manager. The most notable experience for Ian was joining UK Power Networks and delivering the connection of over 230 large renewable distributed generation sites, adding over 4GW to the grid in three years.
Louise has over ten years’ experience in the environment sector. She is currently on secondment from the Greater London Authority (GLA) to advise the delivery of London’s Go Ultra Low City Scheme (GULCS) residential and car club work streams. GULCS is a joint London Councils, Transport for London, and GLA programme funded by the Office for Low Emission Vehicles. The programme is delivering new chargepoints across London. At the GLA Louise developed policy and delivered environmental programmes. Previous to this, Louise was a Senior Consultant for Arup and worked on a variety of climate change programmes. She has also managed a UK Regional Climate Change Partnership. Louise started her career with the Environment Agency influencing internal and national policy on climate change and sustainability.
Graeme leads National Grid’s work on electric vehicles/decarbonisation of transport by leading and coordinating all the work relating to the UK regulated business of National Grid. As National Grid separates the Transmission Ownership (TO) from the System Operation (SO) by April 2019, Graeme will be representing the TO business of National Grid.His work helps the Government, the energy and automotive industry’s transition towards zero emission vehicles. With over a decade in communications infrastructure and over a decade in low/zero carbon electricity, Graeme is a well-known and highly respected energy industry expert. Graeme is a graduate of Oxford Brookes University (BSc 1997) and Bi Norwegian Business School (MBA Energy 2016).Graeme takes his decarbonisation work home with him as he drives a PHEV and BEV and heats his home using ground source heat pumps.
James has worked in energy policy and communications for over a decade, starting as a researcher in Parliament before working as an energy consultant for communication agencies. He was policy manager at energy watchdog Consumer Focus and joined the Renewable Energy Association in 2014, where he is Policy and External Affairs Director. James was also local councillor in Islington and chaired the Environment and Regeneration Committee.

Erik is a regular speaker at prestigious events and has delivered presentations for a broad range of audiences, from professional investors and energy specialists through to EV enthusiasts. He has an engaging style and is skilled at adapting his delivery to fit every audience profile.
